Nieuwe wereldburgers: aantasting van natuur en milieu als vraagstuk van algemene vorming: een zaakpedagogiek

This study surveys environmental education in the Netherlands from a pedagogical point of view. Two questions are paid special attention: (1) How to fuse the concept of 'nature' and 'environment' in environmental education and (2) how to serve both the environment and the education of young people. The central conclusion comprises the impossibility to solve problems like this on class-room level and the necessity of a discussion on the level of the curriculum.
